Originally from Seattle, Washington, KC moved to LA after receiving a scholarship from EDGE Performing Arts Center in Hollywood. He trained and completed the Scholarship program in 2008. Most recently, KC had the great opportunity to work as an assistant choreographer with his mentor, the legendary KENNY ORTEGA. He works and choreographs exclusively with Derek Hough on many projects. He also recently finished filming five movies: TED 2, Disney’s “TEEN BEACH 2”, “TEEN BEACH MOVIE”, where he plays the GEEK and a Biker, HBO’s Behind the Candelabra, and the Nickelodeon movie “Camp Fred 3”. Recent commercials include: SKECHERS, TOYOTA COROLLA, VIRGIN AMERICA safety video and MICROSOFT tablet. He can be seen dancing for TAYLOR SWIFT, Betty White, Iggy Azalea, Ariana Grande, Kylie Minogue, and has been accepted to DALTON ACADEMY where he Warbles and dances in all six seasons of the FOX hit show GLEE, choreographed by Zach Woodlee. He was also a Dancer/Warbler in the GLEE LIVE! 3-D CONCERT MOVIE and GLEE LIVE! TOUR 2011. KC danced with JANE LYNCH in the opening number of the EMMY AWARDS and has been in numerous performances on Dancing With The Stars over the past seven seasons choreographed by Mandy Moore, CHRIS SCOTT, Dee Caspary, Marty Kedelka, Marguerite Derricks, and Kenny Ortega. He was the associate choreographer on the most recent season of AMERICAN IDOL where he was also a featured dancer. He can be seen in the box office hit “No Strings Attached” and the remake of the movie “FAME,” choreographed by Marguerite Derricks. Other credits include a PROACTIV commercial with Julianne Hough, Assistant Choreographer for “Easy A” with Emma Stone and “90210,” dancing for Rihanna at the VMAs choreographed by Tina Landon, and has been Mandy Moore’s assistant choreographer on SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE.

KC’s class specializes in a strong CORE foundation. Coming from a sturdy and tough technical background, KC studied under Mandy Moore, Jennifer Hamilton, Dee Caspary, Tabitha and Napoleon D’umo, Tessandra Chavez, and Marguerite Derricks. He believes that no dance style can be accomplished unless one understands the importance of a held center. His movement ranges from technique to Hip-hop, Tap, old Hollywood and everything in between. No one style is more important than the other, and is very apparent in KC’s choreography. Innovative and unique, KC creates choreography that incorporates everything he has learned, producing a unique movement with fresh ideas. Originating from a strong Tap background, musicality and rhythm are an apparent influence to KC’s style and work. He studied under Mary Ann Lamb and has great appreciation and dedication for FOSSE and his legacy. KC’s passion in life is teaching and choreography, focused on keeping jazz and true technique alive while bringing originality to his art. His choreography has gone on to win numerous awards including choreography, high scores, innovative idea, and most importantly performance. KC currently teaches at numerous studios in the greater Los Angeles area. He teaches many master classes, tours with conventions, and sets choreography around the country and worldwide. KC’s art is versatile, original, and unique. He is in high demand as a director, choreographer, and performer, making him one of Hollywood’s most sought after artists.
